Terms and Conditions - Wanderwall

Article 1. Application

The general conditions described below (the “Terms and Conditions”) govern the contractual relationship between any user of the website www.wanderwall.nl (hereinafter the “Customer” or “You”) and the company Wanderwall, by Celine, based in the Netherlands and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 63589613 (hereinafter “Wanderwall”).

These Terms and Conditions are solely applicable and replace all other conditions unless prior written permission has been granted.


Article 2. Website Usage

You must be at least 18 years to place an order through the website of Wanderwall (www.wanderwall.nl; hereinafter the “Website”). You guarantee the accuracy of the information provided on the Website. Wanderwall reserves the right to cancel any order from You or reject You if there is a dispute over payment of a previous order.

2.1 Features of the products

The products offered on the Website are art photographs in limited editions with a choice of three different finishings and in three different formats. Each product comes with a hanging system, so it’s instantly ready for use. The photographs will be billed based on the rates in effect at the time the order is placed and are subject to their availability. The photographs remain the property of Wanderwall until full payment of the stated price is paid.

2.2 Placing an order

Before placing an order, the Customer has to take the following steps:

  • You choose a photograph in the size and with the finish You want. You can order one or multiple photos at once. For each photo You will have to choose a desired size and finish.
  • After that, You enter the address to which the order can be sent.
  • You can order photos with or without a customer account. If You have a customer account, You can login to place your order.
  • Next You decide how You want to pay. Check that your order is correctso that it meets your expectations.
  • Before You finalize your order, You must agree to these Terms and Conditions. You do this by selecting the box with the link to these Terms and Conditions.
  • Then You pay for your order through your chosen payment method.
  • Finally, You will receive a confirmation email at the email address You have submitted.
  • The order is only placed when Wanderwall has received the money from your bank. After that, your order is put into production.


2.3 Payment

Your order will only be taken into production after Wanderwall has received your payment. You can pay in two ways: – Via iDeal: for Dutch banks. Select your bank and follow the payment instructions. – By credit card. Follow the payment instructions.


2.4 Delivery

Processing of orders
Wanderwall delivers custom products and thus produces each order according to the specifications of each individual product. Therefore, You can not use the right of withdrawal (see article 2.5). Every order will be taken into production after Wanderwall has received the payment. Delivery takes place within 15 working days after ordering.

All photographs of one order will be sent simultaneously.
Photographs stating ‘sold out’ can not be ordered anymore.

Shipping address
Wanderwall ships within the European Union. If you live outside the European Union and want to order a photograph from Wanderwall, please contact customer service. The order will be shipped to the address You have submitted in the order as the “shipping address”, this address may differ from the “billing address”.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs for orders with a shipping address within the Netherlands are free of charge. If You have a shipping address outside the Netherlands, the shipping costs are charged. These costs are dependent on the country of destination and will be discussed in advance. The order will be finalized after your agreement to these costs. If You don’t agree to this costs, your order will be cancelled.

When Wanderwall ships an order to a country other than the Netherlands, You are the importer of the products. For all the products that are sent outside the European Union and overseas territories, You may owe duties, local taxes, import duties or chargesimposed by the government. These duties and charges are not the responsibility of Wanderwall. They are the responsibility of the Customer, both in terms of declaration and payment to the appropriate authorities and agencies in your country. We advise You to inquire about these issues with your local authorities.

Receiving the products

When you receive your order, it is your responsibility to check the status of the photographs and frames. If you receive the parcel damaged, we ask You to take pictures of the damages, email them to us and contact our customer service immediately.


2.5 Right of withdrawal and right of return

Wanderwall delivers customized products according to the specifications that You have entered at your order. Therefore, it is not possible to make use of the right of withdrawal. Only if the received photographs do not appear to be in conformity with the order (wrong size or a different way of finish), You can return the products. In this case we ask You to contact our customer service, which will inform You about how to return the product.


2.6 Customer service and complaints

For all your questions or comments You can send an email to info@wanderwall.nl. We strive to respond to your e-mail within 2 working days. Should You wish to contact us by phone, You can do so Monday to Friday between 10:00am and 4:00pm (Amsterdam time, GMT +1) at the following number: +31 (0) 6 83 17 59 83.


Article 3. Force majeure

Wanderwall can not be held responsible for errors in the processing of your order causing delays or non-performance when it is caused by force majeure.


Article 4. Protection of personal data

Wanderwall treats your personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act. In principle Wanderwall does not share your personal information. Wanderwall edits or distributes your personal information only to the printing partner in relation to the processing of your order who then transmits the information about the shipping address to the carrier so that your order can be delivered to your specified address. Depending on your choice when creating or changing your customer account, You can receive a newsletter from Wanderwall. If You no longer wish to receive the newsletter, You can change your choices in your customer account on the Website. You can view or change your personal information in your customer account on the Website.


Article 5. Liability

Wanderwall has compiled the Website with the utmost care. However, Wanderwall can not guarantee that the site will always be available without interruption, errors or defects and that the information is complete, correct or up-to-date. Wanderwall reserves the right to (unannounced) temporarily or permanently suspend the Website. You can not derive any rights from that. Wanderwall is not liable for (the correct use of) information, contributions and other materials or statements that others put on the Website. Wanderwall is not liable for damage or injury resulting from the use of the Website, unless the liability for damage are caused by intent or gross negligence of Wanderwall.


Article 6. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights and / or similar rights on the (content and design of the) Website, including the underlying software, graphics and photos are based solely and exclusively at Wanderwall, or by its affiliated photographer. Without permission from Wanderwall it is not allowed to copy (parts of) the Website or to use the name of Wanderwall.

Article 8. Changes

Wanderwall can occasionally be forced to change certain provisions of its Terms and Conditions, making it necessary for You to read them each time You visit www.wanderwall.nl. These changes will be effective from the moment they are posted online (the date of the placement online is listed at the bottom of these Terms and Conditions), and they can not apply to previously signed contracts. Every purchase on the Website is governed by the Terms and Conditions applicable at the date of the order. By confirming your order, You unreservedly agree to the Terms and Conditions after You have read them. By accessing the Website You also agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Wanderwall emphasizes that the current Terms and Conditions include the sales of photographs at Wanderwall’s Website.


Article 9. Applicable law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Dutch law.
